The Miller of a Gracious Life…

(This Tribute to Diane Teel Miller was created during her funeral in order to process my own grief…for poetry has been The LORD’s gracious Gift to me for the expression, the feeling, the releasing of grief…throughout my life.

If my writing during solemn occasions ever gives the appearance of disrespect, and any slight lack of solemnity, I DO humbly beg your forgiveness, and pray that when you read what I have written, never again will these issues be a concern to anyone. SCH)

The Woman who works daily on,
is one who comforts all,
Her Husband, friends, and both her sons,
could trust her loving call!

She lived more life in sixty years,
than most who live one hundred,
Her work each day – blood, sweat & tears,
found peace beyond all dread!

We work as though we bear Life’s weight,
but KNOW the weight is HIS,
Makes Philippians 2:13 so Great,
and Earth a Taste of BLISS!

To LOVE The LORD with ALL our hearts,
supremely o’er all else,
Makes secondary loves impart,
the best that Life can tell!

When Lifetime LOVES do draw towards Christ,
their hearts draw closer, too!
That when our lives KNOW Parting’s slice,
there lingers, “I Love You!”

The Days of Tears are made to pass,
but Life will NEVER end,
The Loves Sealed in the LORD do last,
in Glory without sin!

The LORD has blessed her fruitful hands,
her works are Worship’s Deeds,
The LORD controls through Sovereign Plan,
yet cries as HIS Heart Bleeds!

(John 11:35; Proverbs 31:10-31)

Lamentations 3:19-26, KJV,…

” 19Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.

20My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.

21This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

22It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

24The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

25The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

26It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”
